New retail project in Birsta, Sundsvall

RED and Peritas have in a joint venture entered into an agreement with NCC to acquire land in Birsta retail area in Sundsvall. RED and Peritas have worked together on a strategic plan for the prospective retail project and estimates that the first openings in the first phase of the retail area will take place already in the autumn of 2019.

RED and PERITAS acquires land from NCC in Eastern Birsta, Sundsvall. The newly formed partnership has together drawn up a plan to develop approximately 20,000 square meters of building rights, which have been out of focus since 2007. With key success factors such as local presence, retail expertise and property focus, the parties have identified the area as an excellent investment.

There are already far-along dialogues with well-established retailers regarding the area, where the goal is to strengthen the retail area in the eastern part of Birsta. The plan is to open the doors for the first establishments in the first phase of the project in the autumn of 2019.
