RED prepares land for a new large establishment in #Bernstorp

RED has entered into a purchase agreement with Burlöv Municipality for a land area of approx. 46,000 square metres at #BERNSTORP. The company has now submitted a plan change application to Burlöv Municipality with a request to adjust the detailed plan in order to accommodate more than 15,000 square metres of building rights. RED confirms that the company has entered into an agreement with a major international player that is planning to establish operations on the entire area covered by the planned building rights.

In close cooperation with Burlöv Municipality, RED has created new detailed plans for the site with a view to strengthening this retail destination. The change of the detailed plan is expected to be completed during Q1 2023 and the new retail chain aims to open its doors to the public during Q1 2024.  The store is expected to generate approx. 250 new jobs.
