Viggen Retail Park
RED has acquired 12,000 square metres of land from Ronneby Municipality at Viggen Retail Park. Viggen is a popular retail park in central Blekinge and is now expanding with 3,600 square metres of new retail space, with Rusta and Stadium Outlet establishing new stores on the park.
About the project
Viggen Retail Park is strategically located alongside the E22 and national road 27 and is a hub for the municipality’s inhabitants. 22,000 vehicles pass daily, making Viggen an excellent place for retail.
Ronneby Municipality has a long history of increasing flows to trading venues and this is now being reinforced by RED’s development of Viggen Retail Park. Rental agreements have been signed with two strong retail companies: Rusta and Stadium Outlet.
RED started construction of the new property in summer 2021 and the new store opened in May 2022. The construction was undertaken on a turnkey contract basis by GBJ Bygg AB.
